Joe Remedies

  Funeral services for Joe Remedies, 95, of Zwolle, were held at
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tuesday, June 27, at 2 p.m. Father
Kenneth Williams officiated. Burial followed in the Zwolle City
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Remedies died Monday, June 26, at Sabine Medical Center.

  He is survived by three sons, Fred Remedies, Joe B. Remedies,
and Hosea Remedies, all of Zwolle; two daughters, Marge Schuter
of Bossier City, and Alice Speaks of Haughton; one brother, Jack
Remedies of Zwolle; 15 grandchildren; a host of great, and
great-great grandchildren; and nieces, and nephews.

  Born Sept. 1, 1899 in Zwolle, he was the son of Sally Sepulvado
and Hosea Remedies. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy
Remedies; and a daughter, Christine Daigle.
