Frank Remedies (Photo)

  Funeral services for Frank Remedies, 74, of Zwolle, were held
Thursday, August 1, 1996, at 2 p.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic
Church, with Father Danny Walsh, and Father Juan Garcia
officiating. Interment was at St. Joseph's Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Remedies passed away Tuesday, July 30, at Schumpert Medical
Center in Shreveport.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Maggie
Remedies; one brother, Steve Remedies Jr.; two sisters, Louise
and Fannie Parrie; one granddaughter, Rhonda Renee Parrie; one
grandson, Randy Parrie.

  Mr. Remedies is survived by his wife, Johnnie Bell Remedies; one
son, Frank Eddie Remedies; three daughters, Karen Tiny Parrie,
Mary Parrie, all of Zwolle, and Elizabeth Strange of Minden; one
sister, Josephine Martinez of Zwolle; two brothers, Henry
Remedies, and Louis Remedies Sr., both of Zwolle; ten
grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.

  Military graveside services were conducted by the Sabine Parish
DAV Chapter #21.

  Pallbearers were Raymond Remedies, Tim Martinez, Daniel Parrie,
Howard Meshell, Herbert Ray Meshell, Ronnie Sepulvado, Johnny
Remedies, and A. J. Parrie.
