Mr. Louis Remedes, Sr. (Photo)

  Mr. Louis Remedes Sr., 79, of Zwolle, died Sunday, July 27, at
Sabine Medical Center in Many.

  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 30, at 10 a.m., at
St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment to follow at St.
Joseph's Cemetery in Zwolle. Father David Richter will officiate.

  Survivors include his widow, Bettie Lee Remedes; two sons, Louis
Remedes Jr., and Joe Remedes; three daughters, Lois Sepulvado,
Mary Jane Sepulvado, and Phyllis Samples; one sister, Josephine
Martinez; one brother, Henry Remedes, all of Zwolle; 18
grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
nephews. Mr. Remedes was preceded in death by one son, Charles
Stephen Remedes; and one brother, Frank Remedes.

  Military graveside service will be conducted by Chapter 21 of
the DAV.
