Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Dec. 18, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Many, with interment following at St. John Cemetery in Many. Father John Pardue officiated. Survivors include his son, Mark Monroe Remedies and wife Cecilia of Many; two daughters, Carolyn and husband Benny Williams of Florien, and Patricia and husband Jerry Dyess of Bronson, Texas; one sister, Edna Leone of Many; one brother, Phillip Remedies of Many; 11 grandchildren; Kristy Latham, Joey, Brandi, and Alisha Dyess, Rachel, Megan, and Walt Norsworthy, Zachary Williams, Cody, Cheyenne, and Christopher Remedies; two great grandchildren, Charles Latham Jr., and Zachary Latham. Pallbearers were Joey Dyess, Chuck Latham, Jeff Remedies, Tim Leone, Rodney Remedies, and Robert Remedies. Honorary pallbearers were Colby Strickland, Walt Norsworthy, C. J.
