Mrs. Verna Virginia Randolph

  Mrs. Verna Virginia Randolph, 78, of Florien, died Thursday,
June 26, at her residence.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, June 29, at 1 p.m., at
Antioch Baptist Church in Florien, with interment following at
Antioch Cemetery. The Rev. Doug Chance, the Rev. Jimmie Evans,
and the Rev. Don Nunley officiated.

  Survivors include one son, Perry Randolph and wife Debra of
Anacoco; one brother, Merwin Watkins of Florien; one sister,
Lavern Brown of Welch; one granddaughter, Tina McMillian and
husband Bruce of Negreet; two grandsons, Jason Randolph, and
Justin Randolph, both of Anacoco; and one great grandson, Bradley
McMillian of Negreet. Mrs. Randolph was preceded in death by her
parents, Walter and Ollie Watkins; husband, Monroe Randolph and
daughter, Glenice Funderburk.

  Pallbearers were Jason Randolph, Bradley McMillian, Dewayne
Watkins, Justin Randolph, David Watkins, and Kenneth Funderburk.
