The Rev. Joe Aulds, pastor of Pinecroft Baptist Church, where Mr. Rainer was a member, officiated. Burial with Masonic graveside rites, was at Forest Park Cemetery. Mr. Rainer, retired from Libbey Owen Glass Co., died Friday, Dec. 2, 1983, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. He was born in Zwolle, La., had resided in Shreveport all of his life, and was a member of Queensborough Masonic Lodge, and a charter member of Southern Hills Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eunice C. Rainer; two brothers, Curtis Rainer of Noble, La., and Wilmer Rainer of Shreveport. Pallbearers were B. F. Wilson, Glenn White, Earl Graves, James Bonner, Howard T. Holyfield, J. Q. Flaherty.
