The Sabine Index - Mrs. E. A. Scaife 
  
  12 Mar 1948 - Mrs. E. A. Scaife of Fisher passed away suddenly 
Sunday at the home of her daughter in Lake Charles. Last rites 
were conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday from Many Methodist church by Rev. 
Cleburne Quaid, pastor. interment was in Many cemetery under 
direction Massingill funeral home. 
  
  Pallbearers were: M. R. Harrison, Bob Lowrey, J. E. Carmicheal, 
D. M. Norris, C. A. Quillen and J. R. Robinson. 
  
  Mrs. Scaife is survived by her husband, E. A. Scaife, Fisher, 
daughter, Mrs. J. W. Dowling, Lake Charles, Mrs. B. G. Boyd, 
Many; sister, Mrs. F. N. Carte, Lake Charles, and two 
grandchildren.
