Mrs. Robert Speight

  Mrs. Robert Speight, 70, died Friday following a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 2, in the Oak Hill
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Oliver Roberts, the Rev. Hoy Leach, the
Rev. J. C. King, and the Rev. G. P. Burr officiating. Burial was in
the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Survivors are her husband, two sons, Lealand Speight of Moro, Ark.,
Robert Odell Speight of Karnack, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. R. J. Owens
of Pittsford, N. Y.; one brother, Julian Neel of Many; four sisters,
Mrs. J. P. Fussell of Coushatta, Mrs. Gertrude Hilman of Houston, and
Mrs. Noah Miller, and Mrs. Lela Duggan of Many; 13 grandchildren; two
step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one step-great-grandchild.
