Ellis Speight 21 Apr 1944 - Mr. and Mrs. M. K. Speight were notified by telegram Saturday of the death of their son S/Sgt. Ellis Speight, who was killed in action on Lonegro island. S/Sgt. Speight is survived by his parents; three sisters, Mrs. Elgin Tate of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Walter Woodel of Negreet and Miss Elma Lee Speight of Zwolle high school faculty; two brothers, Fred Speight of Highland, Texas and Pfc. Joseph A. Speight somewhere in England.
