Igene Speight 1 Feb 1952 - The remains of Pvt. Igene Speight, 21, who was killed in action in Korea, Nov. 6, 1951, were finally laid to rest Monday after funeral services were conducted at Little Flock Baptist church at 10 a.m. by Rev. Earl Myers, assisted by Rev. Cody Salter. The American Legion was in charge of rites at the graveside. Interment was under direction of Waren funeral home and the pallbearers were members of the American Legion. Surviving relatives include: parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Speight, Clare; brothers, W. P., Edward, C. W. and Cedric Speight, all of Clare and Pvt Eugene Speight of the U. S. army; sisters, Mrs. Audrey Walker and Mrs. Hattie Savells, both of Clare; grandmother, Mrs. W. A. Speight, Clare.
