The Sabine Index - Mrs. Janie Speight

  15 Apr 1955 - Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Speight, 79,
who died at the Fraser sanitarium Thursday April 7 were conducted
at 2 p.m. Friday April 8 at Little Flock Baptist church with Rev.
Homer Burr officiating, assisted by Rev. J. P. King. Interment
was in Little Flock cemetery under direction of Warren Funeral
home.

  Surviving: sons, A. A. Speight, of Florien; J. W. and S. J.
Speight of Negreet, Wyatt Speight of Houston, daughters, Mrs.
Sallie Ward of Silsbee, Texas, and Mrs. Lillian Arthur of
Florien, sister, Mrs. Nealy Davis of Nederland, Texas, 26
grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, one great-great
grandchild.
