Mabel I. Speights

  Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel I. Speights, 92, were held at 11
a.m., Wednesday, March 20, at Calvary Baptist Church. Reverends
Bobby Dye, and Wayne Reeves officiated. Interment followed in
Little Flock Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Speights died Tuesday, March 19, at Sabine Medical Center
in Many.

  She is survived by her husband, Joel Speights of Many; two sons,
Paul Speights of Many, and Joel J. Speights of Berwick, La.;
three daughters, Yvonne Slater, Faye Williams, and Mary Shows,
all of Many; three sisters, Annie Peace, Mildred Smith, and Pearl
MacMillan, all of Many; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by a daughter, Opal Anthony.

  Pallbearers were Phillip Peace, C. W. Speight, Edward Speight,
Bobby Smith, Earl Speights, and Ben Speights.
