Bessie Lou Speight

  Funeral services were held for Mrs. Bessie Lou Speight, age 80,
at 10 a.m., on Friday, July 17, at Warren Meadows Chapel.

  The Rev. Jerry Penfield officiated. Burial was held in McComic
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Speight died on Wednesday, July 15, at her residence in
Zwolle, La.

  She is survived by her husband, Wyatt Speight of Zwolle, La.;
one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Corkey Sandel of Bryan,
Tex.; one sister, Pearl Sibley of Natchitoches, La.; one brother,
Horace Horton of Pasadena, Tex.; two grandchildren, Sheri Sandel,
and Jody Sandel, both of Austin, Tex.; three great grandchildren,
Clint Arnold of Bryan, Tex., Amy Arnold, and Melissa Arnold, both
of Austin, Tex.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were James Q. Salter, Dennis Bishop, Max Teasley,
James Hayes, Jack Napier, and J. J. Graves.
