Mr. Joe Lance Speight

  Mr. Joe Lance Speight, 76, died at Memorial Medical Center in
Lufkin, Texas, on Wednesday, January 5, 1994.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Myrtle E. Speight of Pineland,
Texas; two sons and wives, Wallace and Pam Speight of Pineland,
Texas, and Steve and Jo Ann Speight of Lufkin, Texas; one
brother, Fred J. Speight of Houston, Texas; one sister, Topsy
Tate of Many, La.; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

  Services were held at Little Flock Baptist Church, with burial
in Little Flock's Cemetery, on Saturday, January 8, 1994, with
the Rev. Milton Poindexter, and Rev. M. L. Perry officiating.

  Pallbearers were Bookie Speight, Gordon Anthony, Don Tate, Van
Tate, Bobby Ray Speight, Phillip Tate, Winston Tate, R. J. Holt.
