Fred J. Speight

  Funeral services for Fred J. Speight, 92, of Highlands, Texas,
were held Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996, at 2 p.m., at Little Flock
Baptist Church. Officiating was Rev. James Dammon, and Rev. Bob
Moore. Interment was at Little Flock Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Speight died Sunday, Dec. 8, in Shreveport.

  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Freddie Anthony.

  He is survived by three children, M. K. Speight of Stonewall, B.
R. Speight of Keithville, and James D. Sowell of Bay City, Texas;
one sister, Estella Tate of Many; nine grandchildren; and 13
great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were the grandsons.
