Mrs. Mae Savell

  Mrs. Mae Savell, 82, died Thursday, July 1, after an extended illness.
She is survived by her husband, L. E. Savell of Florien; six sons, Fred,
Alex, and Lloyd Savell, all of Florien, LaVern, J. C., and Otha Savell,
all of Many; two brothers, Willie Dalton of Shreveport, and Newt Dalton
of Florien; one sister, Mrs. Nora Russell of Many; 20 grandchildren, and
22 great-grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Gandy Baptist Church, Friday, July 2,
at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Howard Arnold, and Drewie McComic officiating.
Burial was in Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Savell was a life long resident of Sabine Parish.

  Pallbearers were her grandsons.
