Levi Savell

  Funeral services for Mr. Levi Savell, 88, of Florien, were held
Friday, May 5, at 11 a.m., in the Gandy Baptist Church, with the
Reverends Howard Arnold, Marvin Brown, and James Burns officiating.
Interment was in the Prospect Cemetery, under the direction of
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Savell died Thursday, May 4, after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives are six sons, Lavern, J. C., and Otho Savell,
all of Many; Fred, Alex and Lloyd Savell, all of Florien; one brother,
W. D. Savell of Hornbeck; 20 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
