The Sabine Index - James Marshall Savell

  7 Jun 1957 - Last rites for James Marshall Savell, age 77, who
died Wednesday, May 29, at Fraser sanitarium was conducted at 4
p.m. Thursday, May 30 at Shady Grove church. Rev. Johnny Walker
of Pineland, Texas, officiating. Interment was in church cemetery
under the direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. J. M. Savell of Many, sons, Marshall
R. of Shreveport, David L. Strickland of Leesville; daughters
Mrs. Eunice McFettridge of Orange, Texas, Mrs. Lois Whittaker of
Leesville, Mrs. Gladys Meshell of Many; brothers, Joe Savell of
Hinston, Texas, Ed Savell of Fisher; sisters, Mrs. Olla Adams of
Zwolle; Mrs. Genevia Beason of Florien, 20 grandchildren and two
great grandchildren.
