Mrs. Mittie Savell

  Mrs. Mittie Lou Savell, 89, of Shreveport, died Monday, Feb. 11,
in Doctor's Hospital, after a long illness.

  She was a 50-year resident of Shreveport, and a native of Sabine
Parish.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 10 a.m., in
the Line Avenue Chapel of the Rose-Neath Funeral Home. the Rev.
Robert Potter, pastor of Cedar Grove Methodist Church, and the
Rev. Willima H. Dick will officiate. Burial was in Zwolle.

  Survivors include her husband, Richard T. Savell Sr.; two sons,
Richard T. Savell Jr., and Alvin Savell, both of Shreveport;
three daughters, Mrs. Irene Roy, and Mrs. Marie Joffrion, both of
Shreveport, and Mrs. Nellie Stanford of Springhill; two sisters;
15 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
