Alex Savell

  Alex Savell, 64, of Florien, died in Many on Saturday, March 8,
at 8:10 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Savell is survived by his widow, Mrs. Etoile Savell, Florien;
two daughters, Mrs. Shelba Stanley, Stonewall, and Mrs. Elaine
Corley, Florien; five brothers, Fred Savell, Lloyd Savell, both
of Florien Lavern Savell, Otha Savell, and J. C. Savell, all of
Many, and two grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Gandy Baptist Church on
Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. M. A. Neely, and the
Rev. Howard Arnold officiating. Burial was in the Prospect
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Huey Dalton, Larry Savell, Danny Neel, Ben
DuBose, Alfred Riemaiden, and J. T. Savell.
