The Sabine Index - Ernest Sibley

  19 Sep 1952 - Funeral services for Ernest Sibley, 79, who
died at his home in Negreet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13,
were held at Zion Hill Baptist church at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept.
15, with Rev. J. R. Miller officiating.

  Pallbearers were Nathan Wright, Cecil Wright, Alvin Wright,
Carl Paul, Red Sibley and Mack Sibley.

  Surviving relatives include: wife, Mrs.. Jeanette
Sibley, of Negreet; sons, Harvey of New Orleans, Houston, of
Natchitoches, Roy, of Houston, Texas, Preston, of Georgetown,
Lee, of Lake Charles; daughters, Mrs. Flarie Miller, of Converse,
Mrs. Janie Campbell, of Big Springs, Texas, Mrs. Mae Thorp of
Houston, Texas, Mrs. Lou Averitt of Shreveport; brothers, J. W.
and Guy, of Many; sisters, Mrs. Mary Wright of Negreet and Mrs.
Pet Work of El Paso, Texas, and 15 grandchildren.
