The Sabine Index - Mrs. Clara Sibley

  11 Mar 1955 - Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Sibley, 86, who
passed away at the home of Mrs. Ed Shufflin Monday, March 7, were
conducted at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Pharris of
Princeton officiating. Interment was in Jerusalem Cemetery under
the direction of Warren Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include: son, F. T. Sibley of Many;
daughters, Mrs. Ed Shuffling and Mrs. W. S. Davis, both of Many,
Mrs. A. C. Phillips of Oak Harbor, Wash.; brothers, Alex and Jack
Small of Many; sister, Mrs. Lora Jackson of Many; 34
grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; one
great-great-grandchild.

  Pallbearers were Pat Shufflin, Otha Shufflin, Murry
Davis, Ralph Phillips, J. B. Sibley and Robert Sibley.

  Mrs. Sibley was born at Fort Jessup and has been a
member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church since 1901.
