Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Esther Sibley of Many; one son, Timothy Avard Sibley of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Withers of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Barbara Boggs of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Leona Shepherd of Mansfield, Mrs. Evelyn Erwin of Point Comfort, Tex., Mrs. Effie Jordan of Overton, Tex., and Mrs. Viola Cox of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky; three brothers, Coleman Sibley of Many, W. E. Sibley of Mansfield, and Grover Sibley of Shreveport; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel on Saturday, April 1, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. J. P. King, and the Rev. Willis Greer officiating. Burial was in the Fenders Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Kenneth Rivers, Valmore Byles, Tommy McComic, Delwin Avard Sibley, Kenneth Sibley, and Henry Veuleman.
