Silas M. Savell

  Silas M. Savell, 44, of Greenville, Tex., died Friday, Dec. 1,
in Greenville, after a sudden illness.

  The funeral was at 2 p.m., Sunday, in Beauregard Funeral Home
Chapel, in Leesville, La., with the Rev. Roy Dowden, and the Rev.
Jimmie Owens officiating. Burial was in Beckom Cemetery in
Hornbeck.

  Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Savell of Los Angeles,
Calif.; two sons, Huey Wayne Savell, and Ricky Eugene Savell,
both of Long Beach, Calif.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas
Savell of Pleasant Hill, La.; two sisters, Mary Pennrod of
Greenville, and Rose Jester of Vivian, La.; and three brothers,
Thomas E. Savell of Irving, Paul J. Savell of Leesville, La., and
Andrew J. Savell of Hornbeck, La.
