J. C. Savell

  Funeral services for Mr. J. C. Savell of Many, were held at the
Calvary Baptist Church in Many, at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September
14. The Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. Ron McLellan officiated.
Interment followed at the Prospect Cemetery.

  Mr. Savell passed away at the DeQuincy Memorial Hospital on
Tuesday, September 13, 1983, at 10:45 a.m., at the age of 62.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Velda Rigmaiden,
Longville, La., and Mrs. Nelda Antilley, Tampa, Fla.; two sons,
Michael Savell, Ragley, and John C. Savell, Willis, Texas; four
brothers, Fred P. Savell, and Loyd Savell, both of Gandy, La.,
Lavern Savell, Many, and Otha Savell, Robeline; 14 grandchildren;
one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
