Walter D. Savell

  Funeral services for Mr. Walter D. Savell, 91, of Shreveport,
were held Friday, August 8, 1986, at 10 a.m., in the First
Baptist Church of Hornbeck, with Rev. Roy Dowden, and Rev. Bobby
McCullough officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill
Cemetery.

  Mr. Savell passed away Wednesday, August 8, at the Schumpert
Medical Center in Shreveport. He is survived by his loving wife,
Mrs. Mirtie Mae Savell, Shreveport; four sons, H. O. Savell, and
R. W. Savell, both of Shreveport, H. E. Savell of San Marcos,
Calif., and C. W. Savell of Hornbeck; one daughter, Jaquetta
Golden, Blanchard; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Gary Savell, Jackie Savell, Troy Wilson,
Michael Golden, Frances Hughes, and Wayne Jones.

  Services were under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home
in Many.
