Sibley 27 Jul 1945 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Lillian E. Sibley, age 68 years, were held 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, from Beulah Baptist church. Rev. J. D. Scott officiated, assisted by Rev. Jones, Massingill funeral home in charge. Pallbearers were: Floyd Nabours, Jr., Rollie Patrick, R. N. Adams, Leo Woolley, J. M. Savell and Mr. Merritt. Surviving are husband, M. B. Sibley; five sons, Thoams Sibley of Florien, Roy Sibley of Zwolle, Lawrence Sibley of League City, Texas, S/Sgt. Cecil with U.S. army overseas, Lt. Harold Sibley with U.S. army in Italy; five daughters, Mrs. L. C. Duggan of Port Arthur, Texas, Mrs. H. J. Felts of League City, Texas, Mrs. D. A. Kelly of Carmenia, Mrs. Dan Jones of Falfurias, Texas, Miss Lillian Sibley of Camp Polk; brothers, W. A. and V. C. Easley, San Antonio, Texas; sister, Mrs. D. C. Harris, Kirbyville, Texas.
