Mrs. Mirtie Mae Savell

  Mrs. Mirtie Mae Savell, 86, died at her residence in Shreveport,
La., on June 15, 1989.

  Services were held at the First Baptist Church of Hornbeck, on
June 17, 1989, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Roy Dowden, and Rev. Bobby
McCullough officiating. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include four sons, Herbert O. Savell of Shreveport,
Howard E. Savell of San Marcus, Calif., Clifford W. Savell of
Hornbeck, and R. Wallace Savell of Shreveport; one daughter,
Jaquetta Golden of Shreveport; two brothers, Ed Chance of
Leesville, and John Chance of Huntington Beach, Calif.; 13
grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and one great-great
grandchild.
