Fred Perry Savell

  Funeral services for Mr. Fred Perry Savell, 82, were held at 2
p.m., Saturday, April 20, at Gandy Baptist Church. Interment
followed in Friendship Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Dowden, Rev. Buddy Freeman, Rev.
J. D. Brown, and David Savell officiated.

  Mr. Savell died April 18, at Sabine Medical Center in Many.

  He is survived by his wife, Mary Jett Savell of Many; two sons,
J. T. Savell of Florien, and Jackie Savell of Many; three
brothers, Lloyd Savell of Florien, Laverne Salley, and Otho
Savell, both of Many; six grandchildren; four great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers include Michael Savell, Huey Dalton, Pat Martinez,
Stanley Neal, Ben DuBose, and Alfred Rigmaiden.
