All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Preston Sibley Funeral services for Preston Sibley, 77, were held at the Hixon Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, on Monday, March 30, at 2 p.m. Reverends Marvin Lane, and Joey Williams officiated. Interment followed at Zion Hill Cemetery in Negreet. Mr. Sibley died Friday, March 27. He was a retired school teacher with the Vernon Parish School System, and a World War II Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Houston, and Harvey Sibley. Survivors include three daughters, Paula Sanders of Baton Rouge, Vicki Robbins, and Rose Sibley, both of Leesville; two sons, Rayford Sibley of Galveston, Texas, and Richard Sibley of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Florie Miller of Negreet, Janie Campbell of Baton Rouge, Mae Thorp of Conroe, Texas, and Lougania Averett of Mobile, Alabama; and two brothers, Lee Sibley of Negreet, and Roy Sibley of Humble, Texas.
