Mrs. Jackie Laurence

  Mrs. Jackie Laurence, 61, died Saturday, May 8 at her residence in
the Quiet Cove Community, Toledo Bend.

  Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 11 at Toledo Bend
Bible Baptist Church in Anacoco with interment following at Good Hope
Cemetery in Anacoco.

  Mrs. Laurence was born in Oakdale. She was a housewife and worked as a
pastor's wife for 29 years.

  Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Frankie Laurence of Florien;
one son, Alton Lynn Laurence of Oakdale; two grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild. Mrs. Laurence was preceded in death by her son, Billy
Frank Laurence.
