Mr. Sepulvado, also known as Smoky to many, was retired from the U.S. Air Force, with the rank of Master Sergeant. A veteran of WWII, and the Korean Conflict, he was a landowner, who enjoyed fishing, raising muscadines, grafting trees, and cutting firewood. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 11, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include his devoted wife of 50 years, Ann Mildred Sepulvado; son, Joseph and wife Shirley; granddaughters, Julie and Angela; step grandson, Ivan McRoy; son, Richard and wife Debbie; step grandson, Justin Harp; son, Jace and wife Lynn; granddaughter, Jennifer; and grandson Jeremy; daughter, JoAnn and husband Randy DeLorme; granddaughter, Georgette Hassan; step grandchildren, Jessica, Joseph, and Maila DeLorme; daughter, Lurene and husband Glen Haydel; daughters, Judith, and Rebecca; brothers, Joseph Curtis, and Lawrence Sepulvado; sisters, Lucille Hebert, and Anola Lee; half brothers, Wesley, Carl, Jerry, and Fred Sepulvado; and half sisters, Rita Ortega, and Mary Remedies. Mr. Sepulvado was preceded in death by his parents, W. Henry, and Irene Sepulvado; stepmother, Versaline Sepulvado; an older brother who died in infancy; brother, Joseph Clifton Sepulvado; nephew, John W. Sepulvado; and niece, Lisa Lee.
