He was retired. Mr. Sepulvado is survived by his widow, Kay Sepulvado of Humble, Texas; his children, Mary Kopesky of Humble, Texas, Simon Sepulvado Jr. of Porter, Texas, Glenn Sepulvado of Houston, Freddie Sepulvado of the Woodlands, Texas, and Alex Sepulvado of Spring, Texas. He is also survived by stepsons, Charles Lake of Houston, and Woody Lake of Spring, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren, along with sisters, Minnie Bison of Shreveport, Bertie Bragg of San Augustine, Texas, and Theresa Andresia of Shreveport. Mr. Sepulvado is also survived by brothers George Sepulvado of Orange, Texas, and Frank Sepulvado of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m., in Earthman Resthaven Chapel in Houston. Interment followed in the Houston National Cemetery. Pallbearers were Rodney Sepulvado of San Angeles, Calif., Randy Sepulvado of Temple, Texas, Mark Sepulvado, and Steven Sepulvado, both of Orange, Texas; Max Sepulvado of Beaumont, Texas, Author Sepulvado of Houston, Wayne Odgard of League City, Texas, and Allen Bragg of Woodlands, Texas.
