All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Kenneth Woodrow Sepulvado Kenneth Woodrow Sepulvado, nine year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Sepulvado of Zwolle, was fatally injured near Zwolle, Oct. 7, when he was struck by a car, just after getting off a school bus. The bus driver, Thomas Sepulvado, said the accident occurred about 4 p.m., about two miles west of Zwolle. He said he reached his bus stop flag just as the child left the bus, and darted into the path of an oncoming car, driven by Mrs. Raymond Ebarb of the Ebarb Community. The boy died shortly after he was taken to the Sabine Clinic in Zwolle. The victim's father is employed by the Sabine Lumber Co. of Zwolle, and his mother works in the Zwolle High School lunchroom. The boy attended St. Joseph's Elementary School, where he was in the fourth grade. State troopers Joe Byles, and Jack Brown investigated the accident. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church or Zwolle, with the Rev. Robert C. Friend officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Funeral Home of Many. The boy is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rupert Sepulvado; a brother, Charles; two sisters, Sandra, and Doris, all of Zwolle; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lucius Sepulvado; and maternal grandfather, S. G. Quarles of Zwolle.
