S. A. Spillyard 
  
  Samuel A. Spillyard, 92, a former resident of Converse, died 
Sunday, Jan. 21, in Pine Bluff, Ark. 
  
  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 22, in the 
Robinson Funeral Home in Pine bluff, Ark. There was a graveside 
service with Masonic rites at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23, in the 
Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home 
of Mansfield. 
  
  Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. J. V. Reynolds, 
and Mrs. James W. DeVore, both of Pine Bluff, Ark.; a brother G. 
L. Spillyard of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two grandchildren, seven great 
grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
