Funeral services were held Sunday, August 28, in Converse, at the Fellowship Baptist Church, with the Rev. Donald E. Brown, the Rev. H. M. Roach, and the Rev. Clark Heard officiating. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of Mansfield. Survivors are her husband, Daniel M. Spillyards of Converse; two daughters, Mrs. John Roberson of Shreveport, and Mrs. Sam Hall of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one son, Quinton D. Spillyards of Houma; and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Barnette of Converse, and Mrs. Gertrude Dumas of Jena.
