Mrs. Lou Spencer

  Mrs. Lou Spencer, 76, of Bogalousa, died Friday, at the home of
her son, Robert, in Baton Rouge.

  Funeral services were held Sunday, at 2:30 p.m., in the Main
Street Baptist Church in Bogalousa, with the Rev. Mel McClellan
officiating. Interment was in the Wallace Cemetery, under the
direction of G. F. Poole Mortuary.

  Survivors include three sons, Robert of Baton Rouge, Talmadge
of Bogalousa, and the Rev. W. E. Spencer, pastor of the First Baptist
church of Zwolle; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
