Retired Master Sergeant Mack Speer, Jr.

  Funeral services for Mack Speer Jr., 59, of Many, were held
Thursday, Dec. 17, 1992, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Services
began at 2 p.m., and was officiated by Rev. John Hebert.

  Mr. Speer died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1992, at Baynes Jones Hospital
in Ft. Polk, La.

  He is survived by his wife, Ellen Speer of Many; one daughter,
Virginia Remedies of Many; one son, Steven Speer of DeVille, La.;
two sisters, Patsy Jenkins, and Doris J. Lucas, both of Midwest
City, Okla.; three brothers, Homer Speer of Barefoot Bay, Fla.,
Johnny Speer of Morgan City, La., and Jerry Lee Ash of Kendrick,
Okla.; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Burial was under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of
Many.
