Mrs. Dewitt Spears

  Funeral services for Mrs. Dewitt Spears of Hornbeck were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, in the
Prewitt Chapel in Hornbeck, with the Rev. David Oliver officiating. Burial was in the
Prewitt Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.

  Mrs. Spears died Friday in a Pineville hospital.

  Survivors are her husband; a son, Deloy Spears of New Iberia; a brother, Earl Harvey of
Sour Lake, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Vander of Rosepine, and four grandchildren.
