The Sabine Index - W. P. Spears

  27 Feb 1959 - Funeral services were held for W. P. Spears, age
73, in the First Baptist church, Hornbeck, Feb. 21 at 10:00 a.m.
Rev. Bobby McCuller, Rev. Graham and Rev. Prewitt officiated.
Interment was in Oak Grove cemetery.

  Survivors are wife, Mrs. Bertie Spears; sons; Alfred, Cullen,
Clarence, A. J. and Charles; daughters, Mrs. Sam Berel, Mrs.
Effie Coco, Mrs. Eva Lee Bond, Mrs. Maxine Byrd; one brother,
Columbus Spears; sisters, Mrs. Hattie Hilton, Mrs. Allie West,
Mrs. Katie Prewitt, Mrs. Nina Jett, Mrs. Mary Cox, Mrs. Virgie
Shell; 21 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a large number
of neices and nephews.
