Survivors include five sons, Robert, and Carson Rogers, both of Many, Wiley Rogers of Florien, Herman Rogers of Videt, and L. C. Spears of Natchitoches; four daughters, Mrs. Maudie Warden of New Orleans, Mrs. Bertie Powell of Slagle, Mrs. Mavis Byrd of Pittsberg, Calif., Mrs. Neva Nield of Pasadena, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Mae Armstrong of Florien; one brother, Cecil Rogers of Mandeville, fifty-five grandchildren, 122 great grandchildren, and 22 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Beulah Baptist Church on Sunday, Feb. 24, at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Kenneth Leach officiating. Burial followed in the Beulah Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
