Charles H. Spears

  Funeral services for Mr. Charles H. Spears, 52, of Florien, were
held Friday, September 10, at the Little Flock Baptist Church.
Rev. Bobby McCullough, and Rev. Louis Skinner officiated.
Interment was in the Little Flock Cemetery.

  Mr. Spears died Thursday, September 9, in an accident on his
farm near Florien.

  Survivors include his wife, Marguerite Spears of Florien; a
daughter, Frances Spears; and a son, Charles Spears, Jr., also of
Florien; four brothers, Alfred Spears, and Clarence Spears, both
of Hornbeck, Cullen Spears of Leesville, A. J. Spears of
Stonewall; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Berel of Florien, Mrs.
Effir Coco of Shreveport, and Mrs. Maxine Byrd of Houston, Tex.
He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertie Spears of
Hornbeck; and a host of nieces and nephews.
