Edward Eugene Sparks (Photo)

  Mr. Edward Eugene Sparks, 73, of Florien, died at Schumpert
Medical Center in Shreveport, on April 25, 1989.

  Services were held at Warren Baptist Church, on Wednesday, April
26, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Bud McCullough officiating. Burial was
at Warren Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Marie Sparks of Florien; four sons,
Arthur Sparks of Many, Raymond Sparks of Florien, Ottis Sparks of
Many, and Dennis Sparks of Florien; one daughter, Mary Evelyn
Weldon of Florien; one brother, Pat Sparks of Yellow Pine, Tex.;
three sisters, Lula Wallace of Yellow Pine, Tex., Lucille Simmons
of Florien, Minnie Mae Edwards of Kurthwood, La.; 17
grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and
nephews.
