Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 21, in the Drewett Funeral Home Chapel in Mansfield, with Dr. George A. Richie officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer Cemetery in Mansfield. Survivors include his widow; two sons, Mack Spears of Bay City, Tex., and Travis Spears of Mansfield; four sisters, Mrs. Jewell Copeland of Many, Mrs. Nettie Wells of New Iberia, Mrs. Catherine ?riter of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Edna James of Hornbeck; seven brothers, C. ?. Spears, and Canford Spears, both of Smackover, Ark., Harvey Spears of El Dorado, Ark., Roy Spears of Atlanta, Tex., Dewey Spears of Coleman, Tex., Dewitt Spears of Hornbeck, and Glenn Spears of Montgomery, Ala.
