George R. "Boots" Sebren Jr.

  Services for Mr. George R. "Boots" Sebren Jr., 73, were held at
10 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 30, in Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.
The Rev. Barry Joyner officiated. Burial was at Converse
Cemetery, Converse, La.

  Mr. Sebren died at 12:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 28, 1987, in
Shreveport, following a short illness. He was a member of the
First Baptist Church of Converse.

  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elsie Sebren of Mansfield; two
sons, James "Sapo" Sebren of Mansfield, Charlie Johnson of
Logansport; two daughters, Linda Kitchings of Epps, Debbie Hinson
of Mansfield; two sisters, Jewell Higgenbotham of Plauchville,
La., Kate Gabriel of Andrews, Texas; 12 grandchildren; one great
grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
