All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mamie Sebren Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Sebren, 78, were held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 12, at Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Interment followed in the Converse Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Rev. Barry Joyner officiated. She died Wednesday, October 10, at Sabine Medical Center in Many. Mrs. Sebren was a native of DeSoto Parish, and was a homemaker, a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Mansfield, and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Mansfield. She is survived by four sons, Johnny Ray Sebren, Donnie Sebren, Jimmy Hugh Sebren, and Jerry Wayne Sebren; one daughter, Mary Ellen Jordan; twelve grandchildren; and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, A. G. Ward. Pallbearers include Eddie Jordan, Allen Jordan, Wesley Sebren, Mike Turpin, Dr. Richard Harold, and Johnny Sebren. Memorials may be made to Clara Springs Baptist Camp, or the La. Baptist Children's Home.
