Mrs. Springer attended the Church of Christ in Stephens, Ark. She was an entrepreneur in sales and retail, and a former member of the Eastern Star in Converse, and the Garden Club, along with numerous other organizations. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., July 22, at Rose-Neath Chapel in Mansfield, with interment following at Paul Cemetery in Converse. Jerry Arrington officiated. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, L. B. Springer Sr. of Converse; one stepson, Amos Leon Springer of Mansfield; three stepdaughters, Virginia Paul Key of Lake Charles, Helen Dale Craig of Converse, and Bertha Gayle Cowden of Grand Cane; one sister, Katherine Bazemore Arrington of Stephens, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Vernice Bazemore of Keatchie; seven grandchildren; three nephews, C. V. Arrington, and Garvis Arrington, both of Stephens, Ark., and Jerry Arrington of Magnolia, Ark.; and one aunt, Avis Herrick of Sarepta. Pallbearers were Brady Arrington, Adam Arrington, Ben Eiler, Todd DeLoch, Rod Craig, and Smith Tatum. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield, La.
