Drawhorne Springer (Photo) Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Mae Drawhorne Springer, 72, of Converse, were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 2, at the San Patricio Baptist Church. Brother Bob Hannigan, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Cassel Cemetery in Converse, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Mansfield. Mrs. Springer died on Nov. 30, at the DeSoto General Hospital. She was a homemaker. Survivors are her husband, Johnnie L. Springer Sr.; five sons, Johnnie and Bonnie Springer Jr., Cleveland Springer and Lynelle, and Oliver Springer, and Jackie, all of Converse, Robert Springer and Madeline of Mansfield; one stepson, Don Springer and Betty of Converse; four daughters, Dannie O'Hare and Frank of Longwood, H. Alicia Williams and Gerald of Shreveport, Kathy Ebarb and Travis, and Francis Brown and Homer Lynn, all of Converse; one sister, Juanita Cortright and Buddy of San Antonio, Tex.; one brother, Ira Bell Drawhorne Jr. and Audrey of Bronson, Tex.; special friend, Cynthia Dennis of Shreveport; 40 grandchildren; and a host of friends and neighbors. Pallbearers were the grandsons of Mrs. Springer.
