All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Elsie Mae Sebren Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie Mae Sebren, 75, of Mansfield, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14, 1996, at the Mansfield Chapel. The Rev. Oliver Cagle of Southside Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Converse Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Mrs. Sebren died at DeSoto General Hospital in Mansfield, Friday, Jan. 12. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Sebren; and one son, James "Sapo" Sebren. Survivors are one son, Charlie Johnson of Brookland, Tex.; two daughters, Debbie Cowling of Mansfield, and Linda Kitchens of Epps; two brothers, D. A. "Bo" Rike of Noble, and E. A. Rike of Sulphur; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were A. R. Page, R. E. Cowling Jr., Bill Shetley, Jimmy Jackson, Billy Ray Locke, and Robbie Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
