Marie Dupuis Schaeffer

  Marie Dupuis Schaeffer, 78, of Baton Rouge, and a native of
Lafayette, died March 10, at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home.

  Religious Mass service will be at St. George Catholic Church,
March 14, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Joey Angeles will officiate.

  Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Broussard, and Sheila
Melancon, both of Baton Rouge, and Sharon Moran of Prairieville;
one son, Joseph H. Schaeffer III of Mobile, Ala.; two sisters,
Louise Jackson, and Olive Willis, both of Baton Rouge; one
brother, Alfred Dupuis of Mauprepas; 13 grandchildren; and 11
great grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Schaeffer
Jr.; and parents, Lucien Dupuis and Beulah Landry Dupuis; and one
brother, Joseph Donald Dupuis.
